Swimming behavior
of Cetaceans
Yu Akiyama
Since childhood, my greatest fascination was on this large beautiful creature living underwater, the whales. The more I learn, its mysterious existence grew my curiosities which lead to study this animal. Currently, I am working on various kinds of cetaceans such as bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in captivity and humpback whales (Megaptera novaengliae) in wild, investigating their behavior and swimming ability using bio-logging method.
